Happy Birthday, Mason!

Mason just turned 4 years old! He takes me to every extreme. He pushes all my buttons, then he reminds me of how innocent and sweet and fun he really is. He brings me every dandilion he finds. Our porches are covered with them, because I won't let him bring them in the house. He doesn't understand why I don't like having them grow in the lawn. I was trying to explain it to him the other day, and he finally ended the discussion by saying, "Mom, Jesus can make it any way he wants to!" I guess if Jesus wants dandilions in my lawn, they can stay!
Each night before he goes to bed, he has to kiss me 7 times - on my cheeks, forehead, chin, eyes, and nose. He has finally grown out of holding my hair, which makes me a bit sad. I even asked him to hold it the other night, but he lost interest pretty quick!
He can be pretty rough and rowdy, but when he's around baby Sage, he's as gentle as can be. He loves to make up new nicknames for her. It started out with Lobsti Scareybear, then Org, then Megatron, and now it's Sageybear. According to Mason, she's already said her first word, "Ninja."
Mason loves to sing and pretend to play the guitar. I asked him if he's going to be a musician when he grows up, and he said no, he wants to be a motorcycle rider. He just learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels! He loves playing outside, whether it's digging in the dirt, catching bugs, or going to the desert or camping with Dad. His best friend is Dori, he absolutely loves her! He also likes playing with our neighbor kids, Paisey, Chloe, Connor, and Harrison. His favorite food is pizza and hot chocolate.

The gun was Mason's favorite part of making the pinata.

He liked his Megatron pinata, but decided to do Optimus Prime next year because he has a cooler gun.

Mason has decided to only wear "soft pants." It's a battle to get him to wear anything but his favorite shirt and sweat pants!

We went to Jungle Jim's for pizza and rides. He loved it! He's already planning on having his next birthday party there!

The airplanes were Mason's favorite!

Of course, his favorite present was a toy motorcycle!

It was Corbin's favorite, too!

I let Corbin stay up and help me decorate the night before Mason's birthday. Hindsight tells me it wasn't such a great idea. Poor Corbin was a zombie!
For his birthday he wanted a hover disk that he saw on an infomercial. Unfortunately, every time Scott or Corbin turn in on, he hides under the kitchen table!
